1. Fannie Mae - announced last month that increased costs to loans above $647,000 are coming mid Feb for an April 1st delievery date. (these costs will be passed directly to the consumer)
2. Inflation - the current inflation spike has caused a significant spike in long - term rates, which are mortgage rates.

1. Higher rates - With just inflation along, the rates are much higher in all loan types.
2. Higher rates above 647K - With the inflation part kicking in AND the Fannie Mae cost hike, these loans will be hit hardest and by a lot.
